My Testimony

I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.

He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.

He lives, my kind, wise heav’nly Friend.
He lives and loves me to the end.
He lives, and while he lives, I’ll sing.
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.
He lives and grants me daily breath.
He lives, and I shall conquer death.
He lives my mansion to prepare.
He lives to bring me safely there.

He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
“I know that my Redeemer lives!”
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
“I know that my Redeemer lives!”

This is my favorite hymn. I know that my Savior lives. He loves me and
each one of us. He guides me and leads me along this rugged path. And
sometimes I don't know what exactly I am needed for and decide to do
something, then that's when I know exactly what I am needed for. Being
a missionary is hard work. But it is the most rewarding work too. It
has been the best 3 mo the, despite the rough rugged paths I am taken
on.

My journey isn't finished. I am flying home tomorrow morning. I am
coming home from my mission early. Others may look at it as a
disappointing time but I hope and pray that those people will change
that mind set to a proud and successful time. I have loved serving my
mission in Redlands California. I love the people, the areas, the work
and most importantly sharing my testimony to those who are searching
for theirs.
But my mission isn't finished here. I will continue to be The Lord's
missionary back home. I just won't have the tag.

Those who are curious why. I am going home due to some health issues
that I cannot work out here on my mission. I have dealt with anxiety
for a few years now. It is a burden and a blessing!

I bear my testimony to you that I know this church is true. It is a
way of life and a way of life that makes it so great to live! I know
that Jesus Christ lives and he died for us and our sins and sorrows
and rugged times. So that we didn't have to do it on our own. I pray
that others will follow his example and teachings, by following him.

I love you and all the support.
With all my love,
Sister Jensen
